As a woman travelling alone, I found the medieval castle, beautifully furnished with antique furniture and tapestry, to be a perfect base for exploring the eastern part of Bretagne and the western part of Normandie. the rooms were tastefully decorated, and the very modern bathroom was a delight, with warm showers to relax after a day of sightseeing. the friendly and helpful owners provided great advice on local attractions, maps, and other facilities. the breakfast was a feast for the eyes, with fresh fruits, bread, rolls, cakes, and jam.
It may be challenging for people with mobility issues to access the higher floors, where some of the rooms are located.

Just had a delightful stay at this charming bed and breakfast in the French countryside. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, fluent in English, and made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and had a modern, updated private bath. The breakfast spread was impressive, served in a picturesque setting. Plus, it's conveniently located near Mount St Michel for easy exploring.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was an amazing experience! First of all, the location was perfect, close to many tourist attractions, and the stunning views of the surrounding countryside were breathtaking. the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We loved the cozy and warm atmosphere of the hotel, perfect for the Christmas season. And the fact that they had a fireplace in almost every corner of the hotel added an extra touch of warmth and comfort.
that was compensated with two incredible highlights;

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely historic manor house. The location was perfect - nestled in a quiet rural area, surrounded by beautiful gardens and grounds. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing helpful suggestions for nearby attractions. The highlight of our stay was the magnificent candlelit dinners prepared by Rose-Marie, served in the traditional dining room. The food was artfully presented and absolutely delicious. The breakfasts were also a treat, with fresh flowers decorating the table. We can't wait to come back here again!
We highly recommend this place to our friends.
